[Issues] failure to produce inspect images

This is how it is done in the recipe:

self.gaussianized_frame.make_inspect_figures()
for figin self.gaussianized_frame.figures:
     if fig.subtypein ["Thumbnail","Thumbnail_stdev","PSF_Anisotropy"]:
         fig.store()
         fig.commit()
