[News] Astro-Wise website updated

Hi everyone,

The Astro-Wise web pages have undergone a significant upgrade. The goal 
of the changes is to merge the information available on the Astro-Wise 
home pages and those available on the portal into one website with a 
logical set-up and consistent lay-out. Please have a look at

http://www.astro-wise.org/

to see for yourself.

A new feature is the Index under the "Home" tab. This is meant to give 
especially persons new to Astro-Wise a way to get an idea what is 
offered by Astro-Wise and where to find information about it.

Another new feature of the web pages can be found under the "AWE 
projects" tab. Here projects that will be done with Astro-Wise, such as 
KIDS, VESUVIO, OmegaWHITE etc..., or are related to Astro-Wise can put 
their information and links. At the moment these are mostly 
placeholders, but the plan is to put more information there soon. Note 
that one of them, "Astro-Wise" presents the Astro-Wise project itself. 
It contains the mailing lists, Astro-Wise presentations, the agenda, 
etc.. . In other words, most of the old Astro-Wise pages are now located 
here.

We plan to write a Howto ("Webservices" -> "Howtos") describing how to 
update (project-)web pages for anyone who is interested.

All comments, suggestions and ideas about the new Astro-Wise website are 
very much welcomed.
