Last night we had some problems with the database after a try to delete 
some unused database types. Now I'm doing a recovery of some datafiles 
which got lost last night. The database is now in a state in which you 
can read but cannot create or modify any data and hopefully this will 
change when the recovery has completed succesfully.
Since this process might take the whole night I am not waiting for it to 
complete but will be back tomorrow morning to check on the state of the 
database and hopefully to bring it back into its normal state of operation.
When this has happend I will inform you all by mail.

So, no database until at least tomorrow afternoon.
