[Issues] inconsistency in anoncvs

Hi Oliver,

I just got an anoncvs checkout using the CVS HOW-TO instructions:

~/aw)$ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.astro-wise.org:/cvsroot login
Logging in to :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.astro-wise.org:2401/cvsroot
CVS password:
~/aw)$ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.astro-wise.org:/cvsroot checkout -d anon-opipe opipe

The '-d anon-opipe' puts the checkout into the directory anon-opipe instead 
of 
the directory opipe.  I started AWE using that checkout:

~/aw)$ env AWEPIPE=${HOME}/aw/anon-opipe awe

and got no errors and the Catalog.py version is 1.60.  Could you try the
checkout again using the same method and see if you get the same result?
