 by "factor" do you mean an "issue" ?
 if this is what you mean, for flats that should not be an issue because
 as it was stated some time ago, OmegaCam will not have such effects on
 that scale size. Stars might be an issue in very crowdded fields, but skyflats
 will not be crowdded, right ?

 I onestly do not understand what you mean here.
 do you mean that 32 x 4 numbers is too much for the DB ?

 50x50 pixels leads to poor statistics and in this case stars may be an issue
 if, by chance, they fall in one of these small windows.
 how do you plan to distribute these small windows within the CCDs ?
