Dear Astro-Wise user,

A set of default reduced WFI calibration files has been created. These
are ReadNoise, Master Bias, CCD Gain, Hotpixel Map, Coldpixel Map, Dome
Flats, Twilight Flats, Master Flats, Fringe Maps, Zeropoints and
Exinction curves and Bandpass Transformations files. The filter
dependent calibration files have been derived for the U (f#841,#877), B
(#842, #878), V (#843) , R (#844) and I (#845, #879) broad-band filters.
The calibration files will be used during automated data reduction in
the Astro-Wise system in the event that no valid calibration file is
available. In other words, automated science data processing is now
feasible for the WFI archive, even when no calibration files are
available. For optimal reduction of a specific science dataset one
should keep in mind that these defaults might not represent the best
calibration files.
The default calibration files have timestamps 01 Jan 1990 - 01 Jan 2030.
The timestamps can be used to identify them with the DBViewer
(http://dbview.astro-wise.org/).

Kind regards, Willem-Jan Vriend & Gijs Verdoes Kleijn
